He is Risen!

    On Easter Sunday, our Maximo family gathered for two of our most cherished traditions-our Easter Sunrise Service outside the Memorial Garden and our Easter Cantata Service in the Sanctuary. Both services were filled with gratitude, music, and the joy of resurrection Hope. From the quiet beauty of sunrise worship to the powerful storytelling of the Easter story presented by our choir. It was a meaningful morning that reminded us why these traditions are so special to our congregation. Thank you to everyone who helped make this Easter Sunday a celebration of faith, community and renewal. We are grateful for each of you!

    Giving Thanks To GOD!

      We rejoiced together this Palm Sunday as we gathered once more in our beautifully restored sanctuary. With full and grateful hearts, we gave thanks to God for the many hands, prayers, and gifts that made this restoration possible after the destructive flooding caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024.
      Today’s Rededication Service became a true celebration of God’s faithfulness—filled with prayer, music, and deep gratitude—as we offered this renewed space back to God and recommitted ourselves to Christ’s work in the world.

      Let Us Break Bread Together Fellowship Luncheon

      Celebration of Faith and Friendship on Sunday, April 19, 2026

        Today’s Let Us Break Bread Together Fellowship Luncheon brought thirty of us around the table after worship, sharing thanks, stories, laughter, and support. We’re especially grateful for each person who makes these gatherings so meaningful. When we break bread together, we’re reminded of the gift of community and the joy God gives us in one another.

        Celebration of Faith and Friendship on Sunday, February 15, 2026

          What a great turnout today for our third Sunday of the month Let Us Break Bread Together Fellowsip Luncheon. 3 tables of 8 people gathered after our Worship Service at a local restaurant to share food, conversation, laughter, and encouragement. There is something truly special about breaking bread together — it reminds us that we are not just individuals, but a church community bound together in faith and friendship.

          Hurricane Recovery Update

          Joyful Music filled our restored Sanctuary on Communion Sunday, February 1, 2026

            Freshly cleaned and polished, the handbells shimmered as our ringers filled the room with bright, joyful praise. The musicians played with enthusiasm, the Choir sounded beautiful, and Irma lifted the whole congregation with her inspiring organ playing. What a glorious morning of renewed sound, renewed space, and renewed spirit — a true celebration of God’s faithfulness and our resilience.

            Maximo Campfire Potluck Fellowship on the first Saturday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

            We always cherish fellowshipping with our Maximo family and friends around the Maximo Campfire Site. We pray, sing songs, eat, and enjoy each other’s company. Don’t miss out on joining your Maximo family and friends the first Saturday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Please bring a dish to share and bring a friend!
